How to read these figures
  • Primary sources: every figure is the company's own, cited to the release or filing it came from.
  • Fixed cohorts: the companies in each median are set for the calendar year, so a median never moves because membership moved.
  • No modelled costs: no cost or margin here is estimated by us; where a company states no figure, the page says so.

About New Pacific Metals Corp.

New Pacific Metals' Silver Sand Project is located in the polymetallic silver-tin belt of the Eastern Cordillera of the Central Andes in Bolivia. At the filing date, the company was in the business of acquiring, exploring, and developing mineral properties, with no revenue from operations and no ongoing mining production of any kind. The Silver Sand Project is situated in the Colavi District of Potosí Department in southwestern Bolivia, 33 km north-east of Potosí city, and is held through the company's 100% owned subsidiary Alcira. At the Silver Sand deposit, only silver is reported in the mineral resource, as it is the only economic metal. The Carangas deposit is a polymetallic silver-gold-lead-zinc deposit. The Carangas Project and the Silverstrike Project are located within 50 km of the Bolivian border with Chile.

How to read this page

Costs are the company's own consolidated all-in sustaining cost (gold, silver) or C1 cash cost (copper), as stated, on the basis the company states; the reference price is the quarter's average from World Bank Commodity Price Data (CC BY 4.0); the margin is that price less the stated cost, a production-cost spread and not company net profit; financials are as filed in the filing currency, never converted; report dates are confirmed from the company's notice or estimated from its own past pattern and say which. The full methodology is on the Miner Margins page.
