How to read these figures
- Primary sources: every figure is the company's own, cited to the release or filing it came from.
- Fixed cohorts: the companies in each median are set for the calendar year, so a median never moves because membership moved.
- No modelled costs: no cost or margin here is estimated by us; where a company states no figure, the page says so.
About Ivanhoe Electric Inc
Ivanhoe Electric describes itself as a technology-driven United States minerals exploration and development company focused on copper and other critical metals, with its Santa Cruz, Tintic and Hog Heaven projects in Arizona, Utah and Montana. It operates no mines. Its common stock is listed on the NYSE American and the TSX under the ticker IE. Incorporated in Delaware in July 2020, it is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. It uses its Typhoon geophysical surveying system and data analytics from 94.3%-owned Computational Geosciences Inc. At the filing date its sole material mineral project was the Santa Cruz Copper Project in Arizona, a development project. A preliminary feasibility study completed in June 2025 confirmed the economic viability of an underground copper mining operation with heap leach processing designed to produce copper cathode. Other United States projects include the Tintic Project in Utah, Hog Heaven in Montana and Gleeson in Arizona. It holds the Alacrán Copper Project in Colombia through an approximate 60.8% interest in Cordoba Minerals Corp., the Ivory Coast Project and the Pinaya Project in Peru.

How to read this page
Costs are the company's own consolidated all-in sustaining cost (gold, silver) or C1 cash cost (copper), as stated, on the basis the company states; the reference price is the quarter's average from World Bank Commodity Price Data (CC BY 4.0); the margin is that price less the stated cost, a production-cost spread and not company net profit; financials are as filed in the filing currency, never converted; report dates are confirmed from the company's notice or estimated from its own past pattern and say which. The full methodology is on the Miner Margins page.
